Sponsorship Sales Executive

We’re looking for a driven, focused and professional Sales Executive aiming to forge a successful career in Corporate Event Sales, and seeking a role that offers plenty of growth and development opportunities.

The Sales Executive position involves selling conference sponsorships, exhibit tables, and program advertising. The approach is highly strategic, with a strong focus on successfully building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.

The candidate for this Sales Executive position should excel at new business development and business research, while possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, combined with the high-level of professionalism necessary to succeed in a fast-paced, exciting industry.

The candidate will work in a rapidly-growing company, interacting daily with the CEO and COO to identify targets, move opportunities forward, and generate business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Selling event sponsorship opportunities on our high-level conferences

Ideal Candidate:

Marketing Intern

MSE Partners is seeking a marketing intern to help us with marketing communications. They will serve work closely with the public relations, product, client teams and the other marketers.  They should be a good writer, know how to take responsibility and is detail oriented. We are looking for someone who already knows how to use social platforms but is interested in developing their digital marketing skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Maintain website copy
  • Other copy writing: creating content for blogs, press releases, bylined articles, FAQs, etc.
  • Content marketing: helping the marketing team create content for internal communications and clients, such as infographics.
  • Be ready to take on other tasks as needed and directed by Managing Director of Marketing

Ideal Candidate:

  • Analytical, curious, problem-solver
  • Working toward marketing, journalism, public relations or communications degree
  • Strong writing skills with interest in digital content development
  • Able to prioritize and manage workload on own while delivering high-quality work

Event Operations/Coordination Intern

This position has potential for a full-time position.  The Event Operations/Coordination Intern will be responsible for a variety of coordination and administrative support functions such as vendor management, staff correspondence and coordination, marketing, inventory preparation and management, on-site set-up and tear down and post event reconciliation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Composes and types routine correspondence.
  • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records.
  • Provides overall assistance to Managing Directors as directed.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records and files for all event management
  • Develops event specific organizational tools such as production timelines, contact lists, on-site deliverable schedule.
  • Coordinates event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Assists with registration process for event participant, speakers and VIPs.
  • Compiles post event wrap up reports/reconciliations, participant/stakeholder evaluations and evaluation summaries
  • Provides key support to overall team operations by planning internal staff meetings, preparing meeting agenda, recording discussions and providing follow up reports
  • Read trade publications, attend seminars, and consult with other meeting professionals to keep abreast of meeting management standards and trends.
  • Responsible for providing recommendations, expert knowledge and experience in the strategic planning process for assigned conferences and events
  • Research vendors needed for event
  • Create post-event reporting for clients and internal documentation
  • Work on-site for events you are involved
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Conference Producer

This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to join a young, growing company. The Conference Producer plays a critical role in planning, producing and executing conferences and supporting our growth.

As a Conference Producer, you will be tasked with driving revenue through the creation of a top quality product that attracts attendees and sponsors to our conferences. Over time, you will be trained to take on your own portfolio of events. Please note, the role of the Conference Producer is primarily focused on the creation of program content for the conference agenda, and the identification and recruitment of industry leaders to attend the event in a ‘Speaker’ capacity.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Researching conference agenda topics — including reading articles and calling and meeting with experts
  • Learning and comprehending market dynamics and industry structure
  • Recruiting speakers, including industry leaders and topic experts
  • Telling the story of the event to potential speakers, attendees, and sponsors
  • Writing & editing agendas and marketing materials including emails and website copy
  • Coordinating with the meeting planner, sales team, and company management
  • Reporting on effort and results on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Managing speakers on-site including on-the-spot problem solving
